FAQ – NOR Test & Tagging Services

Following are typical questions often asked by clients.

Vince Haines of NOR Test and Tag encourages YOU to ask the following of anyone you are considering to be a service provider.

In addition to technical qualifications, it can be important for peace of mind that service providers meet the highest standards when attending your work place.

Checks such as “Working with Children” Check and National Police Clearance offer an additional level of protection especially for workplaces that have children in attendance such as Schools, Day Care Centres, OSHC Centres etc

Does my equipment need to be shut down for Test and Tagging?

All items being Tested and Tagged require to be removed from service for appox 10 mins per item. This is to undertake the tests required. i.e. Visual, Polarity, Earth Leakage.

Yes – NOR test and Tag is licensed to undertake Test and Tagging of Portable Appliances.

In addition, Vince Haines – Proprietor, is a fully Licensed Electrician so can undertake additional fault finding and repairs as required.

Yes – NOR test and Tag is a Registered Business – ABN 25 913 830 290

Yes – NOR test and Tag is covered by Public liability Insurance

  • A Deposit is not required
  • Equipment that passes the Test and Tag procedure is fitted with a Tag at the time of testing
  • The final documented report is only available on full payment of the service, preferably on the day of service
  • An invoice is available at the completion of the service
  • To assist, payment can be made by Credit Card (“Square”) Cash / Cheque / Paypal etc.
  • Payment by account can be arranged by prior agreement
